About Event

There are 2 modes of entry for Student and Corporate teams: 1. Online Prelims 2. Offline prelims ♠ Online prelims will be conducted in three slots over two weeks on October 7th, 11th and 18th. ♠ Four teams each will be selected from online and offline prelims. ♠ Teams can participate in slot one, two or three of the Online prelims with the understanding that the best score will be considered for the screening. ♠ The 3 online prelims are independent of each other and no cumulating of scores will be done. ♠ Only one participant in a team can attend the Online Prelims. Two answers per question will disqualify the team. ♠ Teams who have not qualified in the Online Prelims can make another attempt by attending the Offline Prelims at the Rajagiri Valley Campus in November. ♠ Offline prelims will be held at the Rajagiri Valley Campus on November 8th, this will be the final mode of entry into the Semi Finals. From this offline prelim four teams each will be selected from student and corporate participants for the Semi-final round. ♠ Teams should consist of members from the same institution. School students kindly excuse. Team should consist of not more than two members each. On the Final Day ♠Offline Prelims, Student and Corporate Semifinals and the GRAND FINALS will be held at RCBS, Cochin on November 8th 2014. ♠ Teams qualifying the online prelims and offline Prelims will compete against each other in the Semi Finals held at the Rajagiri Campus. ♠ Students offline prelims: 4 student teams will be selected to play the student semi-finals. ♠ Corporate offline prelims: 4 corporate teams will be selected to play corporate semi-finals. ♠ Student semi-finals with 8 student teams (4 from online and 4 from offline) and the 3 best teams will move onto the finals. ♠ Corporate semi-finals with 8 corporate teams (4 from online and 4 from offline) and the 3 best teams will move onto the finals. ♠ Grand Finale: 6 teams (3 corporate semi-finalists and 3 student semi-finalists) ♠ The winner will get the coveted prize of Rs. 1,00,000 and the 2nd best team will win Rs. 50,000. ♠ The best two teams from both the corporate and student teams will be given the first and second prizes and hence the prize money alone adding up to 3,00,000. ♠ The Quiz team of Rajagiri and the quiz master will have the final say regarding all matters of the quiz.
